Rising alt-rnb songstress LaTavia delivers captivating debut single ‘Be Right Back’ which she released on the 27th October 2023.

LaTavia takes pride in being a self-taught guitarist with the gift of songwriting along with the ability to compose music. Hailing from North-West London and raised in a Congolese household, music shaped LaTavia’s childhood.

“Music was a staple in our household and I’m fortunate enough to have an ear that appreciates a multitude of genres– from RNB, Grunge, Classic Rock, Pop, Neo-Soul, Jazz, Soukous & Rumba. I find that this gives me an advantage as I’m able to create sounds that merge all the artists that have inspired me, whilst also birthing my own signature sound. My musical influences are Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Minnie Riperton, Prince, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Chaka Khan, D,Angelo, Kelis and Pharrell Williams. I also admire Rod Temperton– his pen is INSANE! He, along with Stevie Wonder, inspire me to push my pen as further as possible. I truly hope that Be Right Back will resonate with the masses and even if it doesn’t, I hope it’ll move you in other ways!”
