The Jazz Cafe, one of the world's most iconic live music venues, is set to return with its highly anticipated second annual festival on Sunday, 3rd August at Burgess Park, Camberwell. Building on the success of last year’s debut, this year’s event will once again showcase an exhilarating day of music and culture, celebrating both rising stars and established legends.
Headlining this year’s festival is Masego, the multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter known for his signature blend of jazz, R&B, and trap-infused soul. Sharing the stage will be Elmiene, whose soulful vocals have captivated audiences. Also featured is Colombian groove sensation Balthvs, along with the captivating performances of Nectar Woode, Amy Gadiaga, and Don West.
The Plant Room, brings a mix hip hop and underground beats. Griselda Records’ founding members, Westside Gunn and Benny The Butcher, will headline the event with their signature gritty sound, with Westside Gunn making his highly anticipated debut on the UK stage. The stage will also spotlight rising UK talent, including the poetic flow of Lex Amor, Lexa Gates, Brighter Days Live, and Skiifall. Adding to the dynamic mix are Raf Saperra, James Massiah, and Zino Vinci.
The energy continues to stay high with Four Corners, bringing together a lineup of globally inspired beats. Leading the charge is Nooriyah, known for her eclectic sets, and Juls, an iconic pioneer in the Afrobeats scene. IZCO, Young Franco and Guts round out the lineup with their dancefloor-ready grooves.
The Dome stage will feature a fusion of experimental sounds featuring DJ sets from Nabihah Iqbal, Aroop Roy, and Malix.
With its diverse, multi-genre programming, Jazz Cafe Festival reflects the venue’s rich legacy of nurturing groundbreaking artists and curating unforgettable live experiences. From soulful R&B to cutting-edge hip hop and electronic sounds, the festival will transform Burgess Park into a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and community, fuelling London with more unforgettable moments, just like its iconic venue has done for 35 years.
