Lost Village has announced the lineup for its 2024 edition, taking place over August Bank Holiday weekend (Thurs 22nd - Sun 25th Aug). Returning to its unique home in the heart of an ancient Lincolnshire forest, the four day experience will champion discovery and exploration, with every passing year becoming more elaborate, more unpredictable and more unreal. The musical journey is soundtracked by a highly curated collection of bands, DJs and artists, broadening its legacy as one of Europe’s most lauded destinations for electronic music.
The first phase of artists has been revealed - aside from the Saturday headliner who, in true Lost Village style, will remain a mystery. Lost Village will see live appearances from Maribou State, the iconic masked electronic producer SBTRKT, Korean-American DJ, producer and vocalist Yaeji, LA-based indie dance duo Neil Frances and Peruvian producer and vocalist, Sofia Kortesis.
Alongside this, Villagers will enjoy sets from renowned global names including Floating Points, The Blessed Madonna, Folamour, Ben UFO and Solomun, accompanied by red-hot underground leaders such as Jyoty, Midland, Job Jobse, Âme b2b TRIKK, Hudson Mohawke, HAAi, System Olympia, Ross From Friends, Shanti Celeste b2b Peach and countless more.
Continuing their long-running partnership, collective HE.SHE.THEY. bring their unique energy to “Watchers Holt” (a vine covered courtyard) and “Jupiter Park” (an overgrown theme park) curating takeovers, while other spaces such as The Old Zoo, Airbase and Junkyard promise unrivalled moments. Villagers will find themselves exploring winding forest pathways, a promenade of old shops and the hypnotic glow of bowling alley-cum-arcade “Strike City”, with new spaces appearing each year.
More than just a music festival, Lost Village continues its long and storied legacy of exceptional food. Unique dining experiences include “Table in the Woods” and the “Forest Banquet” welcoming Michelin-starred chefs James Lowe of Lyle’s and Cal Byerley of Pine, plus much more to be announced soon. Resident restaurant pop-ups include culinary crowd pleasers Kricket, Circolo Popolare, Pophams & Burger & Beyond.
“The Lost Theatre” returns once more to host future stars and household names in comedy, with previous names including the likes of Simon Amstell, Phil Wang, Joel Dommett, Katherine Ryan, Joe Lycett and many more. The home of talks and live interviews, the Institute of Curious Minds, will bring fascinating stories to life and invite Lost Villagers to learn, talk and get closer to the subjects and scenes that they love. Previous guests include fashion hero Pam Hogg, film director Irvine Welsh, artists such as Jayda G and music industry figureheads such as XL label boss Richard Russell.
As part of the experience, festival goers can enjoy a series of creative workshops and wellness sessions in the Energy Garden available to enjoy throughout the weekend, whether it’s relaxing at the lakeside spa in a wood-fired hot tub or exploring yoga and mindfulness.
Above everything on the programme, Lost Village has earned its reputation for its unparalleled experience and community, a place where festival goers find themselves engulfed in a strange, intimate and beautiful world that can only be Lost Village.
