London-based electro-indie/pop artist Lunar June shares new single ‘are we really over?’

The musical project of singer, songwriter, producer and visual artist Olivia Judd, the track follows the release of her indie-pop summer anthem ‘supplements’ and her critically acclaimed second EP ‘an ode to the girl i once was’ which was released in February this year. Landing praise from the likes of Wonderland, Kaltblut Magazine, The F Word, Ministry of Sound and many more, Olivia returns with yet another nostalgia tinged, angsty indie-electro banger about the feeling of being in limbo in a relationship.

Sonically in the vein of Pale Waves and Baebadoobee, but with strong influences from the likes of Charli xcx and Lorde, the track further highlights both her versatility as an artist and her natural gift as a songwriter.

Co-produced by Danny Casio and Kiera Court (HEADBALLET), the track explores the end of a relationship - Olivia says, “You’re broken up but the ends are very loose, you both still love each other and the door is still very much open. But being in limbo leaves you with many unanswered questions, and this is what this song is really about. No closure and wanting answers. t’s an angsty indie track about heartache and wanting answers in an unresolved situation, which I feel a lot of people can relate to; when you have to create your own closure.”

With performances at festivals such as All Points East, the Great Escape, Isle of Wight, and 2000Trees under her belt, as well as sold out debut London headline show at Servant Jazz Quarters in April, and sold out shows at Prince Albert and Komedia in Brighton, there is no doubt that Lunar June is an electro-pop star on the rise.

Her music seamlessly combines elements of pop, indie and electro, drawing her listener in by telling stories with expressionism and relatability, but with an angstful honesty at its core - all wrapped up in glistening electro beats and Olivia’s captivating vocals.
