Of her first song back from her break, which saw her shut down a brief but illustrious touring career that had seen her supporting Imagine Dragons in stadiums across the United States and Europe, rising troubadour Stephen Sanchez across North America, and her hero Lana Del Rey at her historic Hyde Park gig, Kings says:

"I wrote “Enough" as a way to navigate the overwhelming heartache I experienced during a devastating breakup. The song emerged from a place of deep pain, as I wrestled with the persistent belief that I wasn't enough—a sentiment that has haunted me for much of my life. Creating "Enough" became a cathartic journey, allowing me to confront and challenge this recurring notion. I’d been playing it live for some time but never planned to release it. I rarely write lyrics as raw and direct as these, making the song feel almost too vulnerable. It somehow became a favourite among my listeners who kept asking for it, which gave me the courage to finally put it out there."

Kings Elliot has always been very interested in what makes a song, starting at around seven years old. Growing up in a small Swiss town with her British mother, she kept a thick folder of every song she liked after printing out their lyrics to reflect on why they resonated so strongly with her. “I’m kinda obsessed with lyrics and melody. Always have been.” She was also obsessed with creating worlds and escaping into her imagination, something she takes with her into her musical endeavours, as reflected in the artwork for her singles that feature a sprite sized version of the artist in forests surrounded by representations of real life animals she has rescued.

Through her dedication to both the crafts of songwriting and community building, she has already managed to captivate fans around the world who call themselves “sick puppies” and gather at her shows and on her weekly Twitch stream to discuss the ups and downs of their lives.  Having been praised by celebrities like Reese Witherspoon and Lewis Capaldi, called a “future star” by BBC Radio, heard her songs on hit TV shows like *Grey’s Anatomy* and even helmed the main theme for blockbuster video game *The Callisto Protocol*, she’s now returned, stronger than ever, and excited about a future, which in the short term involves the release of exciting new music and getting back to performing on the festival stages she missed so much.
