Speaking on the inspiration behind ‘JFK, Jean shares; “I take a lot of inspiration from Marilyn Monroe and Jackie Kennedy style-wise and whilst studying them over the years I’ve wondered what both of them felt at the time of the JFK affair, Marilyn especially, and if there were other girls too. That’s kind of the perspective I wrote it from, the third girl who we don’t know.”

Her cocktail of influences range from Hip Hop to Funk and Psychedelic Rock criss-cross with honest and tongue-in-cheek lyricism about coming-of-age and girlhood, understanding a time in her life that shaped her views on men and morality. 

Following the release of her recent single ‘Enough Is Never Enough’, which spotlighted her as a voice to watch in the UK music scene, Jean continues to build on her creative momentum. ‘JFK’ is another testament to Jean’s ability to capture stories inspired by her own experiences while also breathing life into narratives born from her vivid imagination. The track exemplifies her dedication to creating music that is unique and innovative.
