 After taking a 2-year hiatus, West London artist Flash Provoke emerges into the scene with a brand-new persona. Swaying away from the genre of alt-rap, the musician taps into the sweet sound of the diaspora with ‘Life of the Party’, a track that is based on nights out and how Flash is often referred to as a vibrant individual. An artist who initially started out freestyling, Flash Provoke is now exploring his talents as both a vocalist and a lyricist on this smooth but melodic single.

Being recently baptised ‘Life of the Party’ embodies the newly curated version of Flash Provoke, who values family, culture, and self-expression. With clear influences from the likes of Burna Boy, Wizkid, Wretch 32, Skepta, and Ghetts, ‘Life of the Party’ has an addictive drum-infused texture that sits on a vibrant backing, along with a euphonious melody and smooth lyrics.

Flash Provoke has always had a real passion for music. From as early as he can remember, music has flowed through his home, from the sounds of Fela Kuti to Duncan Mighty. Flash’s childhood was filled with church choir rehearsals and inspiring moments with his close friends who were constantly freestyling. After almost 10 years of being immersed in the music scene, Flash Provoke is finally ready to embark on a brand-new journey and embrace the sounds of the diaspora as he merges his London base with his Nigerian roots.
